NASEMSO Joins the Road to Zero in Releasing Proposed Framework for Eliminating Deaths by 2020

NASEMSO – as a member of the Road to Zero Coalition and its Steering Group, managed by the National Safety Council – released a comprehensive report, “The Road to Zero: A Vision for Achieving Zero Roadway Deaths by 2050,” explicitly laying out strategies for ending all roadway deaths in the United States by 2050. It is the first time in the nation’s history that so many organizations – more than 600 – have collaborated to put forth a comprehensive plan to address motor vehicle fatalities, which have been increasing after years of decline.
