These recommendations are considered by the NASEMSO Executive Committee, and positions are taken by the association as a whole to represent consensus of all state and territorial EMS offices, nationwide. About VisionThe vision of the Personnel Licensure Council is to be a national leader in developing and maintaining initial and renewal licensing standards for state EMS offices to assure a safe and competent EMS workforce.MissionThe mission of the Personnel Licensure Council is to promote the professionalism of EMS personnel, and protect the public, through the development of state EMS office leadership and infrastructure.ScopeThe Personnel Licensure Council provides a forum for communication, interaction and networking between peers, other national organizations and federal agencies with similar missions.
