You will serve as part of a team of Senior Health Advisors to develop public health guidelines and communications in coordination with all Public Health Division offices and incident command sections and branches. You will collaborate with academic institutions, and public and community healthcare organizations to develop and improve understanding of COVID-19 epidemiology and preparedness, develop guidance documents in support of the response, provide guidance to healthcare professionals, and respond to questions from the public, stakeholders, and Oregon leadership which includes legislators, Governor Brown’s office, and congressional delegates.What are we looking for?Minimum requirements: Must meet or be eligible to meet the State of Oregon licensing requirements for a medical doctor at the time of hire and obtain State of Oregon licensure within six-months of hire AND must have advance training in epidemiology.Rigorous adherence to the highest standards of confidentiality regarding patient information.High degree of professional, diplomatic interpersonal communication skills to perform significant liaison work.Experience promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment.Click here to view the announcement and apply Contact InformationCyndi Phipps-Roman 503-945-6377
