EMS Engagement Manager (NASEMSO) 

The National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO) supported by Association and Society Management International (ASMI), is seeking a full‑time EMS Engagement Manager to join our mission‑driven team. This position plays a key role in monitoring emergency medical services (EMS) industry developments, supporting national EMS leadership, managing sponsorship initiatives, and coordinating meetings and digital communications. ASMI is a full‑service association management company serving socially responsible organizations across multiple industries, including EMS, trauma, homeland security, and others.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Demonstrated EMS industry experience (state EMS office experience preferred).
  • Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with project management, databases/AMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and data reporting.
  • Experience with marketing or persuasive communication is a plus.
  • Ability to travel for NASEMSO meetings.

EMS Highway Safety Liaison (NASEMSO)

This position is for an association management professional with demonstrated contemporary expertise in emergency medical services (EMS), post-crash care, NEMSIS and trauma registries and state-specific functions related to these. Experience should include project coordination and support and customer service. General responsibilities include coordinating successful execution of National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO) objectives, including serving as the subject matter expert in Post-Crash Care to support stakeholders in reducing the impact of crashes and other roadway related incidents, providing direct staff support to the Utah Highway Safety Office (HSO) and Bureau of EMS, and reporting to the NASEMSO Executive Director and the NASEMSO Board of Directors about project priorities and initiatives. 

The successful candidate is expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with UT HSO and Bureau of EMS leadership, federal partners, NASEMSO members and state highway safety officials in contiguous states, and others. The EMS Highway Safety Liaison must be able to work with limited supervision, while maintaining many team interrelationships. 

This position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah; no relocation assistance is available.
