NASEMSO Membership

Join the collective voice of the nation's EMS systems. 


NASEMSO is the permanent national leadership organization that supports, equips, and advocates for state, territorial, and tribal EMS officials in their work to improve systems of care and the professionals operating in them. In completing this mission, NASEMSO offers a variety of opportunities for individuals, agencies, and other organizations to join us in our efforts by participating in activities and communicating with state emergency medical services (EMS) officials.

Committee Membership

NASEMSO committees exchange information, examine germane issues, and make recommendations for action to the Board of Directors or Executive Committee. Standing and ad hoc Committee membership is limited to NASEMSO members. Committees meet regularly virtually and in-person at the Annual Meeting. Learn more about current committees.

As a NASEMSO member you will have access to our comprehensive membership roster to help focus your efforts and facilitate communications with state EMS offices and other members with similar interests and goals.


Monographs, Reports, & Resources 

NASEMSO maintains an extensive library of resources reflecting the work of the Association and largely informed by the various efforts of and data collection from state EMS offices. As a NASEMSO member you will have access to this wealth of information regarding state EMS system development and policy. 

Annual Meeting Registration 

NASEMSO's Annual Meeting is a premier, national event bringing together partners from across the EMS industry to learn, collaborate, and debate. Members receive discounted registration rates to this four to five day event combining learning sessions, council and commitee meetings, networking and much, much more.   

Annual Meeting Council Access

NASEMSO's seven Councils form the backbone of the association, highlighting the most common areas of responsibility for state EMS offices. The Councils help guide the entire association by addressing emerging issues within their area and developing common guidance and policy. The Councils typically convene in-person during the Annual Meeting, and unless otherwise specified, are open to members for observation.
