Rural EMS Committee

Committee Overview

The Rural EMS Committee focuses on the needs facing EMS systems in rural and frontier areas, such as inaccessibility, aging infrastructure, communications technology, and more.

This Committee also collaborates with the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health through the Joint Committee on Rural Emergency Care (JCREC) to advance policy and practice for rural EMS systems.

To engage NASEMSO on topics relevant to rural and frontier EMS, provide rural input and expertise to the NASEMSO organization and Executive Committee, and promote interaction and collaboration with other rural EMS partners.
