NASEMSO Contributes Report of its Activities on Response to the Opoid Epidemic for May 3 NSA Roundtable

NASEMSO has compiled a report detailing current programs that it has conducted in response to the national opioid epidemic to the May 3, 2018, Opioid Roundtable, hosted by the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) and the Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security in Washington, DC. U.S.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions and additional cabinet-level officials are slated to address senior government officials and relevant private sector partners. Mel House, Executive Director, Ohio Department of Public Safety Division of EMS and NASEMSO Health & Medical Preparedness Council Chair-Elect, will represent NASEMSO at the summit. To focus the agenda, stakeholder organizations were asked to submit any recommendations and current programs they may have in place.
