NHTSA to Host Workshops on Recent Trends in Risky Driving

October 1, 2020

Webinar - 1:00 EDT
October 1 webinar will provide overview, followed by stakeholder workshops throughout the month
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration today announced new steps to address the unique traffic safety conditions during the national public health emergency that began last spring, including emptier roads, faster speeds, and increased driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. For EMS, this can mean responding to more frequent and more severe crashes as well as facing more dangerous situations while working on the scene of these incidents.

NHTSA will host a webinar to provide an overview of these issues on October 1 at 1:00 pm ET. Click here to register. Four additional virtual workshops with stakeholders to discuss emerging trends and develop effective countermeasures will take place during October.
