We are currently seeking potential candidates to fill the Trauma & Critical Care Program Manager vacancy.This position serves as the statewide program manager for trauma and time-sensitive illness/injury programs (Stroke and STEMI). Using data from the EMS patient care information system, the Virginia state trauma registry, and your clinical experience, you will work with system stakeholders from all practice areas to ensure that state-of-the-art acute care for the ill or injured is available across the Commonwealth of Virginia. As the lead for the Virginia Trauma Designation Program, you will have a first-hand view of the exceptional care provided in each of Virginia’s nineteen designated trauma centers. You will work side by side with our talented Trauma Surgeons, Critical Care Nurses, and Administrative site reviewers to ensure that the centers meet or exceed the approved trauma designation criteria.
