Regional Health Emergency Coordinator

The Virginia Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) is currently seeking potential candidates for the Regional Health Emergency Coordinator position, which will be located in the Rappahannock Regional EMS Council (REMSC) office. This position serves as a Performance Improvement Specialist (PIS) for the REMSC office.

Characteristic duties include: Data analysis from systems utilized by hospitals, EMS agencies, and the Office of EMS; Continuing education program requirements and educational philosophy; Medical research; Protocol Development; Peer Support/CISM programs, CTS Testing support; Committee structure; Regional system diversity.
