Responsibilities include developing improvements in existing operations, data, and/or designing new organizational processes. Responsibilities also include gathering user information, identifying organizational needs, planning work, and gaining support from strategic stakeholders. Work is performed under limited supervision.JOB DUTIES: Duties include: technical support for the web applications used for patient care reporting, EMS licensing and inspections, and the learning management system; providing information from the data systems to authorized users, working with other IT administrators for data integration; preparing informational and educational material along with technical assistance to EMS data system users.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Knowledge of the emergency medical care system Knowledge of emergency medical treatment Knowledge of the Maine EMS Run Reporting System Knowledge of EMS Operations and Planning Knowledge of National EMS Information System Knowledge of current business and management systems, methods and processes Knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods and techniques used to ensure a project of program fulfills organizational requirements and standards Knowledge of data warehouses, user types and system interfaces Knowledge of organizational procedures, workflow, costs, protocols, policies and functions Knowledge of groups and individual behavior and dynamics Knowledge of training methods and techniques Ability to write technical reports and documents Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work projects Ability to communicate effectively Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A six (6) year combination of education, training, and/or professional experience in project management, systems analysis, business analysis, program specialty, or related field.Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed as an Advanced EMT or Paramedic, or completion of the training leading to licensure AND two (2) years’ experience as an active provider of emergency medical services.Class C Driver’s License required.Application Instructions:Interested applicants need to apply online by selecting the “Apply for this opening” button along with uploading a cover letter, current resume, copies of post-secondary transcripts, licensing, registration and certifications.
