NASEMSO Celebrates 40th Anniversary and Releases Commemorative Booklet

The National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO), the lead national organization for emergency medical services, is celebrating its 40th-year anniversary during its Annual Meeting, June 19-23, in Charleston, South Carolina. In celebration of this momentous event, NASEMSO has released a commemorative booklet highlighting the organization’s leadership and history. In addition to a brief history of the organization, the booklet contains reflections by many past leaders, as well as pictures from organizational meetings, pictures of leaders, a historical listing of state directors, resolutions passed by NASEMSO, history of projects, memories of staff and friends, and a special in memoriam section. In addition, a section highlights the role of each council (Data Managers, Health & Medical Preparedness, Medical Directors, Pediatric Emergency Care, Personnel Licensure, and Trauma Managers) and provides pictures of their events. A limited number of print copies are available by request.
